Meet the Founder
Roopan Kaur Sidhu is a Registered Nurse, Mental Health Advocate, and Educator with over 5 years of experience working with patients across all age groups. Her diverse background in healthcare has provided her with a deep understanding of the intersection between physical health and mental well-being— particularly among vulnerable populations facing trauma and systemic neglect.
During her time as a pediatric nurse, she witnessed firsthand the urgent need for early mental health intervention among the youth in Orange County — particularly those facing emotional distress, trauma, and a lack of support. In response, she founded Mind Matter Impact, a community-rooted mental wellness initiative dedicated to empowering youth and women through trauma-informed education, advocacy, and access to healing-centered resources.
She has since partnered with non-profit organizations and institutions to deliver workshops, speaking engagements, and mental health awareness initiatives throughout the community.

Mission
Mind Matter Impact is a youth-centered mental health initiative committed to empowering vulnerable youths and women through education, tools, and advocacy.
Our mission is to create safe spaces where youth— especially those experiencing abuse, neglect, or trauma— can learn how to build self-worth, emotional resilience, and inner strength. We advocate for stronger systems of support, more accessible resources in schools, and greater awareness of trauma-informed healing in communities and institutions.
What makes us different? We address the emotional root causes —like low self-esteem, poor coping skills, and unresolved trauma— that lead to unhealthy decisions later in life. We focus on prevention and empowerment by guiding youths to build strong identities, regulate emotions, and access inner strength — to rise above their circumstances and break cycles of harm.
Mind Matter Impact is dedicated to one core truth: healthy minds create a healthier world. We believe that by nurturing the mental and emotional well-being of our youth today, we lay the foundation for a more peaceful and empowered future tomorrow.
Rooted in faith and compassion, our work is guided by spiritual values that emphasize healing, dignity, and building strength from within.
